North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG)
The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is the metropolitan planning
agency for the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex area. NCTCOG has contracted OZ Engineering to
develop an interface between the existing center-to-center (C2C) data infrastructure and the
NCTCOG database to archive ITS information, real-time and historical data,
that will facilitate a responsive and coordinated regional partnership in the areas of urban
transportation planning,
safety, operations and research. An additional module will allow the user to specify the type of
information to be received, as well as the time interval and spatial reference of the collected data.
An integrated tool will be provided to check for accuracy of the C2C data, and fill in, or extrapolate,
data contents when appropriate.
